Notes on Hamlet

Explain how your thinking about the play has evolved from the time we began reading to the end of Act III. Has anything changed your mind about the plot or characters since the ghost showed up at midnight? Where do you see things going from here?

All of Shakespeare’s plays are tragedies such as Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. they are both to different types of tragedies one is based on getting revenge on his father’s death, while the other is a romantic tragedy. As you can see he uses tragedy in his plays. Usually when you hear of Shakespeare you automatically think it is all going to be confusing and hard to understand, or at least in my opinion. It still was confusing to understand, but analyzing it really helped me understand it because I was completely confused. I believe that it also helped others get the full understanding of Hamlet. It seems as Hamlet is having more reasons to kill him than just getting revenge or justice on his father’s death.
