The strategy that I am using is the old fashion way which is flash cards. I memorize the words by reading them and then rewriting them. It is the most effective method that i have used not only for vocabulary but other classes as well. I also connect the words to other things because I remember the little stories that I make in my head. I also make small songs in my head.
small songs! :D i can imagine you singing during the midterm!! Flashcards...plain, simple, effective.
